A VIP celebration and launch party was held on Wednesday 25th February, at local Sales & Lettings Agency Lawson’s shop premises in Chapel Ash to congratulate the company on its 25 years trade in Wolverhampton and the launch of the new service “Property Sales”.
The event was exceptionally well attended and some of the top property professionals in city were there to join in the celebrations, including many local solicitors, hoteliers, Independent Financial Advisers, Mortgage brokers, landlords and investors clients to name just a few.
The celebration had a dual purpose, firstly 25 successful years of providing letting services to the city and in doing so letting over 5000 properties during that time, but also the big decision to utilise their extensive contacts with local investors and detailed local property experience to take the logical next step and move into residential sales.
To take on this new project, David Pritchard joins the team with many years experience in the property market both in the UK and Europe and has been working with the current property team to embed the new service seamlessly into the existing business.
David Says “I believe that the addition of a sales division will make us one of the most attractive buying or selling propositions in Wolverhampton, due to our database. Over the last 25 years we have spoken or dealt with at some time most of the property investors and landlords in the town which puts us in a great position to sell property FAST purely by utilising our current contacts alone, most agents don’t have that facility, they purely have to wait on the property portals or new business to come in through the door”.
The company started trading in 1990 and moved to its Chapel Ash site in May 1995 and has always stayed purely a letting agent, but since 1997 has been heavily involved in helping investors buy property to rent, running seminars, training workshops for investors and landlords as part of its normal day to day business, but it has been at the many requests of its customers, landlords and investors that this big move has been taken.
The team are offering a unique experience to both buyers and vendors alike, by being able to discuss previous rental history of property where applicable, with knowledge and experience and to promote properties direct to those that are most likely to buy.
Over the last 2 decades the company has prided itself in maintaining exceptionally high standards in training and development for its staff and the already highly skilled lettings professionals received an additional full weeks property sales training with some of the top UK Estate Agency trainers in the UK, to ensure service remained high with the launch of this new service.
The 25 year old company can also be found extensively online and on social media, and attributes this forward thinking to much of its success, the team have always been ahead of the game in taking new steps to keep up with the modern world, and now Lettings Manager Rebecca Hume says “It seems that our clients want us to offer a full complete service from beginning to end, so that they can continue to receive the exceptional service they have got used to us for many years already-so we listened”.
Lawson’s still maintain top 3 position for customer review on Freeindex and says it will continue to ensure this level of service is maintained with this new service too.
