Wolverhampton letting agent, Lawsons, launches an Estate Agency service for the first time in its 25th year.

Lawson’s letting agency has been renting residential property around the Wolverhampton, Dudley and surrounding areas since it opened it doors in 1990, moving to its current location in Chapel Ash in 1995. During that time, the company has let over 5000 properties, making it a market leader in the area.

The companies speciality throughout that period has been working with investor landlords helping them buy rental property, to get them great returns, but also assisting them with the refurbishment and furnishing of them too. Buying properties to rent around the Tettenhall, Penn, Pendeford, Sedgley and Castlecroft areas to name a few. Since launching the buy to let service, Lawson’s has helped landlords buy over 500 rental property investments in Wolverhampton area for clients.

This means that the new Wolverhampton Estate Agency now has the benefit of a 25 year database of thousands of landlords and investors, that are routinely buying property for rent, meaning they will have a real “edge” in the market place to get properties sold FAST…

When asked why after 25 years had she decided to launch into sales, Sally Lawson the MD and owner of Lawsons said “I feel we need to offer a full service to our clients, in the past when one of our landlords wanted to sell a property we would have to refer them to an agent elsewhere, and then they would get disappointed at the varying levels of service they received. As a letting agent we maintain relationships with our landlords for many years, with most of our clients having been with us since the mid 90’s, so they get to know us well and us them too. So the clinical new relationship with an unknown agent, can be quite a challenge. This way we can see our clients through the entire customer journey, from buying the right rental property to rent, renting it, managing the tenancy and tenant and then selling when they feel they need to. A one stop shop but with a team they already know”

The new service has been a huge step for the Wolverhampton letting agents, as it is always something in the past they have always avoided, so to get he team ready, the whole team had a full week of Estate Agency training, held here in Wolverhampton at the Life Spring centre in Chapel Ash run by expert outside trainers, early in December.

To oversee the launch and on going property service a new sales manager has been bought into run the launch and development of the property sales service, David Pritchard. David comes with a wealth of property sales experience, having set up, run and launched estate agency’s and property investment planning services for many years before, he is working alongside, long term staff member letting manager, Rebecca Hume, who has been with the company for over 8 years and fully qualified, Lettings professional.
